Your classes are taught by highly-skilled and qualified instructors who bring a wealth of experience and expertise with them into the classroom to rock your world.
Naturopathic Education
Whether you’re pursuing a career as a natural health practitioner, massage therapist, holistic doula, or simply desire to learn more about natural remedies and therapies, as you interact with life, family, and friends, the Naturopathic Institute is the place for you!
Diploma/Certificate Programs
The Naturopathic Institute offers three excellent educational programs to meet your needs:
- Natural Health: Naturopathy Program
- Massage Therapy: Therapeutic Bodywork Program
- Doula Training: Holistic Doula Program
All classes are offered solely on weekends, beginning Friday night at 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Lab classes for the Therapeutic Bodywork Practitioner program weekend are Saturday/Sunday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
The NITE Space
The Naturopathic Institute’s smoke-free and air-conditioned facility, located at 503 East Broadway Street in Downtown Mount Pleasant, is also home to the retail store, Herbs Etc, offering products and services by experienced consultants and therapists who are dedicated to helping customers and clients understand and improve their health; they are qualified to provide holistic advice and suggest natural remedies. Services, therapies and naturopathic consultations are available to the public, and could include such things as: live blood cell analysis, iridology, homeopathy, various massage therapies and reflexology, and emotional release/essential oil sessions. Available in the store are high-quality herbs and supplements, books, oils, homeopathics, natural health and massage supplies, and snacks. The therapy room includes an infrared sauna, detoxing foot soak, magnetic bed, body vibe machine, and more.
There is no obligation for students to buy items or use the services and therapies at Herbs Etc; however, students are entitled to a 10 percent student discount on all store items while enrolled in NITE.
Also, housed in the same facility is the Naturopathic Community Center, offering various extended natural health and community classes for students and the public.
