Naturopathic Learning Opportunities for a Healthy Lifestyle
Natural Health – The Learning Never Stops
The Naturopathic Community Center offers many learning opportunities for students, alumni and the community to create an environment that teaches and increase the awareness of natural health.
Our naturopathic classes offer prospective students the opportunity to obtain valuable knowledge that will improve their lives in a meaningful way. Not only do we teach natural health techniques and practices to our students, we help people take control of their lives through natural, healthy living. The Naturopathic Institute isn’t just a school, it’s a community dedicated to naturopathic study and to each other.
Join us for Saturday/Sunday Seminars with challenging courses. Want to dive deeper into a certain topic? Saturday/Sunday Seminars are just the thing for a passionate student who just wants more out of their education, or anybody looking to learn more about natural health.
Take part in free classes on Tuesday evenings that will get you motivated about natural health! Each class will present a different topic that welcomes thought and discussion among community members. All classes are facilitated by a Natural Health Therapist or Natural Health Practitioner and is held in one of the classrooms, starting at 6:30 p.m.
Healthy Eating Classes
Once a month, spend your Tuesday evening at the Naturopathic Community Center Kitchen for our healthy eating classes! Whether you’re an amateur chef or a pro in the kitchen, these classes will teach you how to cook delicious, healthy meals! All classes start at 6 p.m. in the NCC Kitchen.
Sustainable Living Classes
Part of understanding the road to health and wellness is recognizing our connection to our food sources and the Earth. Sustainable Living Classes take place at the Symbiosis Ranch, a biodynamic and organic farm just outside of Mount Pleasant. The classes offer training in food preservation, biodynamic farming and gardening, raising livestock, and more.
Symbiosis Ranch Internship Hours
Students have the opportunity to gain internship hours for their program through hands-on learning at the Symbiosis Ranch. Help build everything from sacred geometry gardens to vegetable gardens, learn biodynamic prep and application for gardens, composting, and farm animal management.
Nature’s Sunshine Distributors’ Meetings
