Are you a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) or a Therapeutic Bodywork Student? We offer classes that count as continuing education credits (CEUs) and can help you hone your skills. Our classes are taught by licensed massage therapists and bodywork professionals who are passionate about sharing their expertise with others.
Join us at the Naturopathic Community Center for one of our weekend massage therapy and bodywork classes. You’ll learn techniques that promote relaxation, reduce pain, and support overall well-being within a natural health framework.

These classes are open to Licensed Massage Therapists and students who have completed either Classes #1 – #6 of Therapeutic Bodywork Program or Advanced Bodywork of the Natural Health Program at the Naturopathic Institute. If you are working toward becoming an LMT at another school or program, and you have completed advanced bodywork courses, then you are also eligible for these seminars.
Unless otherwise stated, classes are held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at 503 E. Broadway, Mt Pleasant. The cost is $145 per class.

| August 23, 2025 | MBLEx Preparation 9 am – 4 pm | Teri Straus | Overview of the best methods for MBLEx exam preparation. Review online study resources, exam content, and application process for both the MBLEx and licensing in Michigan. It will include what to expect on test day and test-taking strategies. |
| September 27, 2025 | Advanced Lymphatic Techniques | Priscilla Kurash | You should already have a basic understanding of lymph flow and manual lymphatic drain. This class focuses on post-surgery drain and re-directing the fluid when lymph nodes aren’t present. |

Review the anatomy and physiology of the muscles utilized, demonstration of techniques, and opportunity to practice the techniques. (8 CEUs) |

| November 1, 2025 | Core Balancing & Alignment: Pelvis | Teri Straus | Assess and address pelvic imbalances. Using Formal Assessment and Muscle Energy Techniques on specific areas of the pelvic region, target problem areas and introduce active, resistive joint movements to improve pelvic alignment. This seminar is hands-on and includes a review of the anatomy of the pelvis. (8 CEUs) |
